What to expect
Winter Solstice is approaching, which marks the shortest day of the year and the official onset of winter. To celebrate, I’m offering a special online ‘Me-Treat’ on Sunday 20th December 3:30-5:30pm.
This will be the ultimate me-time event, which I’ve lovingly created as a yoga journey through our senses. You’ll receive a specially curated goody bag of items that will be used alongside a yoga journey from yang to yin.
We’ll start with a vinyasa flow to create some heat before the daylight turns to night and we move to a mindful yin practice.
With a sense of calm and awareness, we’ll then briefly journal on key points with a theme of letting go of what doesn’t serve us and setting fresh intentions for the year ahead. We’ll use this to set a Sankalpa (intention) for our Yoga Nidra practice that we’ll end on, creating the ultimate experience of deep relaxation and rest.
Sensory experience goody bag
The specially curated goody bag is lovingly designed to create the perfect environment and immersive yoga experience. During the practice we’ll travel through the senses using the items in your goody bag.
We’ll start with a focus on sound with our firey vinyasa flow, followed by touch working with crystals in our yin practice. While we journal on what we want to let go of we will be exploring taste (and releasing any bitter ones) and then move onto sight for looking inwards and setting fresh intentions. Finally, we will use scent to deepen our awareness and relaxed state for Yoga Nidra.
